    Redesign? hurmmm

uhu... for me, as a web designer, yesss. also have to redesign a bit if ur webpage is too messy~

Do You *Really* Need a Redesign?

If you're thinking about whether you need a redesign, you probably don't.

The really important issues are things like Offering, Message, Conviction, Call to Action, and Fulfilment. And they exist in the Content of your site, not the template design.

What Really Makes a Difference in Web Design

    It's all about numbers

    Visitors x Conversion = Success

There's No Guarantee that a New Design Will Work

    Zero!

A good designer designs your message, not your packaging

    Summary of Key Elements

    • Research - Knowing your audience, their goals & how to reach them

    • SEO, including keyword research guiding content architecture

    • USP - Unique Selling Point

    • CTA  - Call to Action

    • MVT - Multivariate (or A/B) Testing

    • Copy - Great content

    Time Management

    Scoring 100% in Time Management

Excellent school Exam grade“Most people who attempt to learn a new time management system fail.”

    Scoring 100% in Time Management
It’s a problem in what we think time management IS.

This “system we never knew we had” is comprised of habits, practices and rituals that have been practiced over the years and are now built into our neuro-muscular systems.  In this sense, we are more like smokers trying to quit some dangerous behaviors, than we are mathematicians learning some brand new techniques.

But time management gurus don’t tell you that changing the habits that make up your current time management system is just as challenging. They don’t get you to appreciate what you are up against as you try to reverse decades of practice, reinforced by some positive results that convinced your subconscious that you had this time management thing beaten.

You may still be failing to implement THEIR system the way it “should” be done, but you’ll be 100% effective at upgrading your own.

    Cloud Chair

    i luv this~ ngeee~

Lisa Widén’s idea to create the Cloud chair was born sitting on an airplane looking down at the clouds below. The thought of being able to lounge around on soft and fluffy clouds inspired her to create this soft, comfy and playful upholstered easy chair with a black metal support frame. The Cloud chair is easily adjustable, meaning that the seat can become the back support and vice versa. This enables everyone, regardless of height or size, to find their own favorite position.

    McD's coffee ad

    p
    homepage

‘ As part of a national campaign promoting McDonald’s restaurants, a downtown Vancouver lamppost became part of an out-of-home (OOH) optical illusion, appearing to pour coffee into a giant cup on the sidewalk. At the time, McDonald’s was giving away free small cups of its brew for a two-week period, in an effort to attract new breakfast customers. Ad firm Cossette’s Vancouver office developed the concept for a lamppost near 6th Avenue and Cambie Street. The post was wrapped in brown vinyl to resemble poured coffee, while an oversized carafe was attached to the end. Elsewhere in the city, a transit shelter was turned into an ‘hourglass,’ with an ever-diminishing number of coffee beans reminding customers of the promotion’s short-term nature. ‘ Link here.

    Arak~

    Info for Muslims~

    ARAK
    DAN STATISTIK KEBURUKANNYA

    Sebelum saya

    * Hampir 45 - 46 %
kejadian jenayah, mangsa meyakini bahawa penyerangnya di bawah pengaruh alkohol
    (arak).
    * Angka tadi naik
kepada 58% dalam kes serangan oleh individu yang tidak dikenali.
    * 39% keganasan dalam
    rumahtangga melibatkan alkohol (arak)

    Sebenarnya,

The top 55 web designers in the world

So you’re looking for a reliable, talented web designer? You’re wanting someone who is on the cusp of all the latest web trends? You’re looking for a web design which is worth the valuable money that you intend to pay? — I asked myself each of these questions. Tired of being less-than-thrilled with my experiences with web design firms I’ve used in the past, I set myself on a mission to find the best of the best.

    1. Superior design.
    2. Clean design.
    3. Great UI (User Interface) for ease of navigation.
    4. Use of CSS and web standards.
    5. Utilizes CMS backend architecture. (Content Management System - ala, Wordpress, Expression Engine, Joomla, or other)
    6. Good portfolio.
    7. Freelancer or very small firm. (lower overhead, lower prices) :-)
    8. PHP, Ajax, Ruby on Rails, mySQL, and CMS plugin knowledge were a plus.
    9. Eat their own dogfood. (their own website had to look just as good as I hoped my site to become)

Why a Freelancer need a CRM System?

The way to get out of this trouble is to deploy "Customer Relation Management (CRM)" software into your disposal. This article will discuss some points relating this kind of systems.

    1. Operational CRM: For people involved in Sales and marketing. This system will record the interactions with customer such as phone conversations and other communicational follow-ups. This way you can have a detailed record of day-to-day progress and plan changes.

    1. Analytical CRM: This system offers various tools and practices that can be used to analyze a certain market condition and effectively design a successful marketing campaign. It also helps to determine how profitable a customer can be based on the information that it records regarding the customer’s involvement to the project.

A Model of The Creative Process

A Model of The Creative Process

Concept Map: A Model of The Creative Process
Created in collaboration with Jack Chung, Shelley Evenson, and Paul Pangaro.

The creative process is not just iterative; it’s also recursive. It plays out “in the large” and “in the small”—in defining the broadest goals and concepts and refining the smallest details. It branches like a tree, and each choice has ramifications, which may not be known in advance. Recursion also suggests a procedure that “calls” or includes itself. Many engineers define the design process as a recursive function:
    discover > define > design > develop > deploy
